Great Little Site

This site is well maintained with power, water and grey water at teach pitch. All pitches are hard standing and fairly level. The central grassed area has two picnic tables so you can sit out and watch the sunset making the fells change colours. Did several 10+ mile walks mostly off road, but the lanes were very quiet as compared with some parts of the Dales and the Lakes. If you like history, there are some great water mill ruins in the Brock Valley and a Neolithic stone circle at Bleasdale. Mrs Bell was so welcoming and full of great tips about the area. Very little light pollution and no noise at night. We will return.
