A true gem set in a very quiet location with breathtaking views. The site is perfectly groomed by a very conscientious owner who is more than happy to please his visitors. There aren't any toilets or showers but who cares when you are staying in such a beautiful location.
Will definitely visit again and keep away from the now very regimental sites we appear to have.Â

Magical Place
Booked on the site for 6 days and ended up staying for 9. Ross is very friendly and keeps the site to a high standard. The views are breathtaking, walks on the NCN no 78 are really safe and lovely. Port Appin (nice community shop here) and Lismore 5 miles away. It is so peaceful. Bar and food within walking distance. Free range eggs at Barcaldine. Â April 2014
First class
Stayed April 2014 for 4 nights. Beautifully kept site with wonderful sea loch/mountain views. Good location for exploring Appin, Oban and the wonderful island of Kerrera. Handy pub/restaurant and good woodland dog walks close by. Friendly and helpful owner.

Fantastic!
We stayed one week on this fantastic site. The views are spectacular and the site very peaceful and quiet. The access road to the site is excellent, no narrow roads!!There is a pub within a 20 min walk if you want to eat out. Loads to see and do in the immediate vicinity or with a sort drive, Highly recommended.
Ssh! Keep this one to yourself :-)
Unbeatable views and location. We stayed for 15 nights. Ross keeps the site immaculate and is keen to make sure you enjoy your stay. The site is quite right by Loch Creran, away from main roads yet a few hundred yards to the main road from Oban to Fort William for easy access. There is also a static caravan and B&B available if you want to bring non-caravaning family or friends.
Nearby, try the easy Glenn Dubh Walk for awesome waterfalls. Drive over the B845 for fantastic views over Loch Etive. Go north through Glenn Coe and turn right down Glenn Etive For the most beautiful scenic drive ever and look out for the Deer and other wildlife.
Caution. This site is getting popular booking is essential. We did have a couple of problems at the weekends with people turning on spec when the site was already full and Ross wasn't about, they came on site anyway and refused to move.
what a place to relax
Enjoyed 4 nights here. Spectacular view over Loch Creran to the mountains beyond. Plenty of walking locally (ideal with our dog) Bar/restaurant 1 mile away. Ross is very welcoming and keeps the site very neat and tidy. We used and drank the water with absolutely no side effects so no concerns there. We look forward to returning soon.

Don't Get Much Better
Visited Ross for a week in July/August with family and had a fantastic time. The site is immaculate and the views breathtaking. Ross was very helpful and friendly. If you go take a spinning rod with you, only a 2 minute walk to the Loch edge. Hope to return soon.

Great Place to Relax
This CL must have one of the best views in the network. Everything about it is excellent, there is a great pub/restaurant an easy walkable mile from the site, easy access to lots of other places in the north west of Scotland, great local walks or you can just sit and enjoy the ever changing view. Ross does his best to ensure everyone enjoys their stay, it is a shame that he was let down by a number of members who had booked but failed to show which resulted in empty pitches and other members who had requested to book being denied the chance to visit this excellent CL. We will return!
