A near perfect CL!
This is pretty close to everything you’d want from a CL, well maintained, flat, fully serviced pitch with your own dustbin, ponies for neighbours, friendly owners, great local pubs and the New Forest on your doorstep!
We had a fabulous 5 days here our first time in the area, we loved being out in the Forest. We did the Tall Trees walk and walked from the site following one of the maps provided in the Information Hut. If you have children (or dogs) the river around the Puttles Bridge Car park is great for paddling and picnicing!
We ate at the local pub a couple of times and had Sunday lunch at the Hare and Hounds at Sway, both dog friendly. We also had a very reasonably priced drink sat outside the social club one night after a walk in the forest.
There is a local shop, Londis, who bake pastries every morning, which became very addictive! Lots of other shops in New Milton including an M&S Food.
We’d definitely return!
