Just had 4 nights on this lovely site and wish we could have stayed longer. A welcoming letter was on the gate to greet us and tell us which pitch we were on. The pitches are all grass but this was not a problem for our motor home. An ideal site for dogs as the forest is only a 5 minute walk away. There was some building work going on locally at the time of our stay but this won't be for ever and didn't spoil our break as most of the time it was peaceful. The owners are friendly as are their 2 dogs and the 3 horses/ponies which are very well cared for. There are chickens kept outside of the camping field boundary and eggs are available for purchase. We found the site to be well maintained and were lucky enough to have water direct to our pitch along with electrics. The rubbish/chemical emptying point was kept very clean.
