Dark Orchard
Dark Orchard is a lovely site. It is hard to beleive it is on the edge the town of Hay-on-Wye, it feels very rural and quiet.
It is a flat field mostly surrounded by trees and with a small stream running along the edge which adds interest.
The water and waste points appear to have been upgraded recently.
Access is good though very large caravans might find the turn off the lane a bit sharp.
The local CO-OP is conveniently close and the town is only 5 to 10 mins walk.
