Ease of arrival/welcome

Quiet seclusion.

Access is a tad snug and perhaps not for the beginner, but once on site you are in for a real treat. Two basically flat and lush fields divided by a small burn and adjoining a preaceful stream. A warm welcome from 'Pete The Greet' who gives you loads of local tips. We were the 5th on site but the size of the place allowed us to pitch in a quiet corner. While Hay isn't large it's just a nice place to spend time. Look out for live music at the Globe and try the veggie meals at the quirky "Old Electric Shop". The CO-OP is only 2 mins walk and is very well stocked.
