Stunning views but some road noise
We stayed for 2 nights in September. The views across to Whitby were excellent but we found the noise from the adjacent road spoiled our peace and quiet. The grass was slightly long and leveling blocks would be necessary for most positions in the field. Our dealings with the owner were friendly although we never actually met him. We left our money as instructed. Overall not bad value as it was close enough for us to cycle into Whitby.
