We stayed here at the end of June and had good weather. As with a previous review, we missed the field and drove too far. We were the only ones on the site, although the adjacent Camping and Caravan site was quite full. The view of Whitby was wonderful and the picture gives a really good representation. Although we had booked earlier in the year, phoned ahead on the day of arrival, and left a message on the answerphone, we had no contact with the owner, and in the end I send a cheque by post for the pitch fee. We really enjoyed our stay, and enjoyed some good walks from here using an OS map. I would recommend, and add that during the night we did not get any road noise, but it is quite a busy road day time.
