Pretty much perfect Adult only CL!

What a lovely site and a real credit to it's owners. We arrived to find our pitch was labelled with our name on a chalk board. The owner was very friendly and welcoming and showed us where everything was located. The toilet and shower were immaculate and the bins clearly labelled for recycling and general waste. There was a clean towel every day in the toilet. The only downside was the shower meter was in the toilet and started counting down as soon as you put your cash in so it was a quick run around the corner to strip off and get in. The grounds were very well maintained. The grass well cut and there was plenty of space between pitches. There were only 4 caravans on site but each one had enough room. We were very lucky with the weather and had glorious sunlight so it was nice to sit out relax. Filey is about a ten minute drive away and Scarborough probably 5-10 minutes more. At £15 per night we thought it was good value and even having to pay for the shower and if we wanted to put an awning up wouldn't stop us returning. We have paid more on CL's and had a lot less space and facilities. As my title says this CL is pretty much perfect and a credit to the owners.

What a 'Gem of a Site' excuse the pun.

On arriving there was a chalk board in the ground with my name on it making it easy to find my pitch. I originally booked for four nights but ended staying seven. What a beautiful clean tidy site. The facilities were immaculately clean and very pretty. One shower and one toilet although perhaps one more toilet would be an advantage. I think I had the best pitch on the site, all around sunshine (when it came out) and it was surrounded by leylandii to make it very private. The road was a tad noisy at times but the mooing of the cows in the background and the housemartins swooping around the field made it an absolute pleasure to behold The owners were very friendly and welcoming and I would certainly recommend this site to any member, I will certainly be coming back.

A pleasure to visit

We have just returned from 4 nights on this site. We were greeted on arrival, shown our pitch and had everything explained to us. The owner was pleasant and friendly and the facilities were clean and well cared for. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this site and look forward to future visits.

Pretty CL

Previous comments all true , lovely large CL , so the fact that there was sometimes 7 vans or even 9 on most nights was not an issue , caravan club needs to address the size of sites before rigidly sticking to 5 vans. The only down side was the prices £15  per night £3 for awning and £1 for a shower almost same prices as nearby club site. I would still recommend this site it's really a credit to the owners

Nice CL, but don`t tell to many people !

Found it a little hard to find, owing to post code shows on the right coming from Filey. But a really smashing CL with extremely well kept grounds. Toilet and shower very clean, change of towel daily. Nice and secluded, lovely CL.

Fantastic CL

This was a last minute booking, but what a great find.the site can only be described as immaculate, with an exceptionally clean shower and toilet tucked away in a shed which was like the tardis(a £1.00 charge for  10 minutes in the shower)  .  The owners were very friendly and made us most welcome. The grass was cut lovely and short, and there is even a two hole putting green on site.We were tucked away in the top corner and didn't mind the little bit of noise from the adjoining farm.  The two horses over the fence  were very friendly. The site is  central for the local seaside resorts and picturesque villages inland.  All in all well worth all visit

Great CL

We received a very warm welcome from the owners on arrival and we were shown where all the facilities were. The site is very well kept short grass and plenty of room on the spacious pitches. The facilities were clean, tidy and well maintained. This site is ideal for exploring the beautiful North Yorkshire coast line with the busy seaside towns of Scarborough, Filey and Bridlington. However, it's also within easy driving distance of Pickering, Kirkbymoorside, Thornton le-dale and Helmsley, which are all picturesque villages and towns. We have really enjoyed our stay at Diamond Wood so much that we decided to stay an extra night. Well worth a visit...................

WOW,,, what can I say, this place was a very last minute find. Booked on the Friday night for the Saturday. This was our first stay on a CL so weren't too sure what to expect. I was a bit worried about going as there were no pictures of the site on computer, but I needn't have been. This place is absolutely beautiful, we were tucked away in the top corner so had the pleasure of the wonderful scenery that was over the fence. A real picturesque view with plenty of room, which was great as we have 2 dogs. The shower and toilet were immaculate, such a very welcome little site. Grass was cut short and kept very tidy. A very pleasant experience for our first CL stay, will be hard to beat im sure. Will definitely be back. Thank you for a super break.

BRILLIANT FIND!

We found this site by accident as the one we had originally booked was muddy and we decided to move on. A true gem, the owners have great pride, justifiably, in what they have created. Well spaced out pitches, separated by hedges, in open coutryside with great views.
