We visited here last summer. We were disapointed to find quite alot of hardstanding on this CL, with a hardstanding road going through the site and parking areas. This was not in the book, the owner told us they had to put this in as the site was getting very wet and making it difficult for caravans and cars. This is fair enough but gave the site a bit of a car park feel. We have a large awning and there was only just enough grass space next to the caravan to pitch it. And then no grass on to sit chairs on etc next to our pitch and just a small strip out the front before you had the 'road'. We also like CLs so our rugby mad son can have a runaround on the grass, not so on this site. The owner was very nice and helpful. Toilets were very basic old porta loos, no hot water etc. Good situation to visit the area attractions. A bit tricky getting in and out with the van as a very narrow road in with fence posts at end, need to be very straight to get through, took us a few attempts to get out without having a scrape. An ok budget CL, shame about the OTT hardstanding.
