Quiet CL visted August 2015

We do find it interesting to see other peoples reviews and how they differ for the same site, here is our view of Dulas Bay. Not too difficult to find if you follow the directions in the Club Handbook. All pitches are hardstanding with power and water to each and are in two rows either side of a slate gravel roadway with grass between each pitch. The 'bottom end' pitches get the best view and have a little more space. We had booked and paid online and saw no sign of the owner(s) during our two night stay, but we don't have an issue with that as we like peace and quiet. The waste facilities, and chemical toilet disposal, are close by. To access the pitches you have to drive through an old farm yard and then past 7 or 8 other caravans, which were also being used, so not sure how the CL thing works here. We were separated from them by a hedge. The toilet block is in the form of one breeze block building, located at the top of the area past the other caravans. It contains a shower, toilet and hand wash basin. The shower is chargeable by coin slot meter, £1.00 for 6 minutes, however the meter is outside the building so make sure you get your timing right! On the same point, at £18.00 per night, it's not the cheapest of CL's and we feel that the showers could be included in this fee. I suspect most pitches will required levelling ramps, ours certainly did. Not sure what ampage the electricity was but if we put our Truma on the highest setting it tripped the breaker but this didn't spoil anything. The site served it's purpose as a base for our short stay on Anglesey but not one for us to return to.
