Wasn't sure what to expect arriving the day after a regatta but very pleased with what we found. Clean and tidy site, we were lucky enough to pitch facing the river and what a view. Good hard standing pitch, the grass recovering from the recent floods and regatta, and the water and waste as you would expect on a CC CL - clubhouse facilities a bonus if you use them. Easy walk into the city which has everything you want in miniature except the cathedral, which dominates. Blissfully calm, hugely entertaining watching the crews on the river (warning - they start at 7:30ish but it didn't keep us awake) and very relaxing. Great place for a break.
