What A Great Place To Stay
As the title says, this is a great little CL in the Oxfordshire country side. The site is level, flat and quite sheltered. Ron is very friendly, knowledgeable about all sorts, amiable and chatty too, so you are made to feel welcome. We had a very windy start to the week but the weather got better the longer we stayed.
Lots of national Trust Houses and places to visit and not more than an hours drive away and Oxford is easily accessible by the Park and Ride, a short journey away.
The local pub in the village does excellent fish and chips (a bit pricey but well worth it) and other food too. Good atmosphere.
In short, we shall definitely return to this little gem of a site. Great for a quiet week and the sheep are friendly too; they are great to watch, especially when the shepherd drops in to feed them !!.
