Booking was easy via email and arrival was self check in with payment via the envelopes provided to pay cash or by bank transfer. A few days before we had received an email letting us know which pitch we had been allocated. We were on pitch 5 which was ideal as it was a little away from the other pitches so very private. This pitch came with 2 choices of where to pitch. The views were beautiful, despite having a road between us and the beach. There was very little noise from the road. The owner provides lots of walks on their website but unfortunately we tried twice and were unable to find the coastal path. However there were great views from the walks around the farms and the coastal path was easily picked up with a short drive. The chemical point was not the best we’ve used but it was sufficient. The best part about this site is its location. We walked from Budle Bay to Bamburgh, Bamburgh to Seahouses and around Holy Island. This is definitely a site we will return to.
