noisy

Have just spent 5 nights here, site was very pleasant and very spacious but very very noisy with road traffic until late at night not good when you are trying to sleep!! The owners did not make themselves known to us at all and on arrival we had to ask other campers where the facilities were and noticed others had to do the same, would have been nice to have communicated with us at least once, this would not have put us off going again but the road noise probably would.

A gem away from the madness of the coast

We turned up on the Saturday of early May Bank Holiday weekend and found ourselves to be the only people staying that weekend, which was a tremendous result! Set in the orchard of a working farm, it is a tranquil oasis away from the overcrowded madness of the Brean/Burnham/Weston-S-M stretch of coast. There is a bit of traffic noise from the nearby main road, but it is a steady low level so no issue really. Facilities are basic, but exactly as promised. The owners were friendly and helpful. The coast could be reached in 15 minutes, with the excellent National Trust property at Brean Down only 20 minutes away. The only fault I could find was no marked grey water disposal, but that is such a minor point.

Lovely CL

We stayed for one week in July and two weeks in August. East Farm is a lovely CL with well spaced out pitches set amongst apple trees. There is a loo, which was always spotless and a selection of books if you fancy a read :-). A bus timetable and local information were also displayed on the wall. The owners were nice and really helpful. They really do take on board any suggestions you have. During our stay in July we asked if a mirror could be placed at the bottom of the road to see oncoming vehicles, as there was a bit of a blind spot. When we returned in August a convex mirror had been put up. East Farm is really handy for visiting Weston super mare, Burnham on sea, Brean and the surrounding areas. The entrance was a little tight for our twin axel, but as others have said, it's not an issue if you take your time. We had a lovely peaceful stay and would definitely visit again.

Great Value CL

Approach to site is a little tight but ok if you are carefull. Nice enclosed area to pitch up and well spaced electric bollards. About a ten minute walk back to main road for buses to Weston and Burnham. Great value CL and hopefully will be visited again

Everythin you need

Lovely flat peaceful site, doesn't appear to be much available within walking distance other than the post office and cricket pavilion that Sarah kindly mentioned does food on Tuesdays, cake and a cuppa was £1, and the cake was lovely. Everything I needed and at a good price. EHU's are positioned sensibly, the site was easy to find and the pitch was great.

Still a little Gem after 27 years!!!!!!!!!!!

Have being visiting this Site for the last 27 years since the age of 11 now I'm 38!!!! The welcome from the owners has always been warm and welcoming. This is a working farm so sometimes someone isn't there to offer a book in. But the chalkboard advises to carry on round and pitch which to me is more than acceptable. We stayed this time over a long Easter Weekend which meant the site was full during Thursday to Easter Monday but we were all well spaced out with the EHU points well spread out. Vans tend to park 3 on the left and 2 on the Right. We tucked ourselves along with Parents Caravan into the Corner Backing onto Garden which suited us as it was close to the toilet for Elderly Father in Law with forgetfulness staying in our van. Toilet is Basic but well above average for a CL site even the Spider is friendly in there. A short walk back to main road allows for Public Transport in either direction. Local Garage which is Esso is a short walk along Main Road which stocks the essentials. Bleadon Village has a Saturday Morning Market which must be good as we couldn't park! Brean Leisure Park has a Saturday Market and Car Boot on a Sunday. Sanders (Wyevale) Garden Centre is about a 10 minute drive towards Burnham. Cheddar is about 30 minutes away but gets very busy during peak periods. Site Entrance has improved over the years and now very easy access I Can get a twin axle Swift Conqueror through with ease. Children loved owners interaction with them allowing them to feed Patch the Lamb. Sorry to admit but I did this 27 years ago too. Another great stay!!!!!!

Great base

A great base to visit the area, tv ok, wifi rubbish, but the tranquil surroundings after a hectic day really nice. The owner extremely nice and helpful, site clean and pretty with flowers.

Stunning little CL

Really pleased we found this site as i am sure we will be using it a lot more. The site is very pretty set in a Orchard with well maintained lawn and flower beds. Access was a bit tight but is no problem if you took your time. Tv signal was brilliant although phone signal was a bit hit and miss but again no real problem. Great place to use as a base to explore local attractions and will definitely be back again.

Excellent and Economic

Stayed here on our way down to Lands End and also on our way back. Really nice, quiet, picturesque site and in a good location. Access was a bit tight. but with care not too difficult. Has everything for a pleasant few days stay and we will definitely be making use of this excellent economic CL in the future.
