Great well kept site

Enjoyed our first trip here, and only 45 mins from home. Lovely warm welcome when we checked in at the great farm shop which has a really good choice of delicacies, and where we bought our BBQ food for the weekend.. Site is very well kept with large spaces between each pitch which is great as plenty of room to sit out and enjoy the view We were on Pitch 5 which had a even bigger area as was the last pitch of the row and next to the fresh water tap. There is the road behind as others have stated, and we took this into consideration when we booked as it was quite busy at times, but the views across the fields, the ducks hens and sheep in the fields around the site, and the castle in the distance was lovely. A great walkway has been laid out round the filed in front of the site, which has been sown to attract wildlife and if you take the walkway further round, over to Crow Wood you will find a lovely summer house in the woods with decking and games to sit and enjoy a picnic and the view. Garden centre within walking distance that has a café and where you get the bus to North Berwick or Haddington. Both lovely places and we went to North Berwick for the day which was great wandering round the streets, on the beach and a game of Pitch and Put. The prices of sites in and around North Berwick compared to this site is staggering, and well worth the 20 min bus journey we took. Museum of Flight is just a short distance from the sight and worth a visit. Hut on site with loads of information on what to do in and around the area. Looking forward to our next visit as well worth the money- Thank you for a great weekend.
