A charming site

Thanks Tracy, We loved your site, well planted with interesting trees, great views of the Wolds and conveniently situated for touring. Very peaceful, and close to the Swaby valley for a delightful circular walk.

East paddock Wolds view

I went to this site after reading 2 good reviews. On arrival you have to go to tea rooms where you follow owner to site entrance where you open a pair of gates which lead to a second pair of locked gates, which would be difficult to opon if you are not very tall. On Entering site first impressions were good, but site is sloping and uneven. The toilets are also for disabled use but The shower isn't and are about 75 MTs from caravan. The views are spoiled by a hedge and 2 deralict out buildings. The site was untidy and had ereas install nettles with black bin liners thrown in, the Owner has 2 dog where you have to watch where you walk as mess has not been picked up. The site is overpriced and I have been on better sites for less.

Hidden Gem, peace and tranquility in a stunning setting...

We stayed here in August 2017 and we were the only van on site so we had a choice of pitches. The site was stunning! Well maintained very low cut good grass with views to the sea and plenty of walks directly from the site. Tucked away at the bottom of the garden there was 1 gents and 1 ladies toilet plus a shower room. All were in excellent and sparkling condition. After the toilet block there was a path that led to the owners property who ran a small family cafe and cake shop set in beautiful gardens with big fish ponds and covered areas for outside eating... you MUST go there. We went and had a full English cooked breakfast as well as taking away cakes and fruit for later. The food was fab and plenty of it with an abundance of tea... The owners were lovely and more than happy to provide us any information we needed about the area. Please do not be put off by the fact that there are no photo's of this site. You will NOT be disappointed if you stay here! Pete and Debs

Beautiful

An absolute gem , this cl is set in the owners own garden which is beautifully kept and very peaceful, a perfect place to stay for a nice quiet break in the country side but close enough for a shopping trip into Louth and a trip to the seaside, an an added advantage is the owners own tea room which is at the bottom of the garden and there cooked breakfast is an absolute must,as is a nice afternoon tea with home made cakes , highly recommend this CL and will most definitely be staying again in the future.
