Lovely site!

Just stayed for a weekend at Eastfield farm. Everything is perfect about this site. Access is really easy, the site is fully level, individual serviced pitches, peaceful. The owner really made sure we felt welcomed and had lots of useful information about the area. Lots of interesting places to visit nearby. Highly recommended!

Spacious, spotless and unbelievably quiet site.

This was our first introduction to a fully serviced pitch at CL price, Having a tap and waste drainage on your pitch makes touring sooo easy. No traipsing about with water and waste containers. Lovely site, well maintained, short grass ( grass cuttings are collected when grass is cut so no grass in caravan. ), no traffic noise and the only sound you will hear is the birds. 20 mins walk to the coast or 30 mins walk into Withernsea. Tesco, Aldi and Poundstretcher in Withernsea. Home made delicious jam and free range eggs on sale! We had a fantastic 4 days at East field and we can't wait to get back. Thank you Heather. See you soon.

A very pleasant site

Spent four nights on this site which is kept very well. The owners couldn't have been more welcoming. The site is very quiet and peaceful and in a good sized field, so no crowding issues. The individual water supply is a bonus. Eggs, potatoes and home made strawberry jam from the farm are good value and excellent quality. Will definitely be returning.

Tranquil

Just got back from a three night stay which was delightful The owners are lovely and we received a warm welcome. The sight is immaculate and very peaceful. Some lovely walks from the sight and shops were only approximately a mile away in Withernsea. We were able to fully relax and in the evening sat watching swallows or swifts (too fast to tell) flying around catching their tea. Such a lovely place to stay

One of the Best CL sites you will visit in the area

Just spent 6 nights at Eastfield Farm and must say what a lovely CL this is. Easy access, site level, sheltered and well cared for, grass cut regularly and cuttings collected so you don't keep walking them into your caravan, and a separate water tap for every pitch. A warm welcome was to be had from the site owner Heather. This is a good base for your stay when visiting the area, Hull, Withernsea (Tesco just 5 mins away) Spurn Point, Hornsea, the Freeport worth a visit if only to visit the cafe serving a delicious beef caserole! and the sea being just a mile or so away. This is a working farm but does not in any way affect the CL site, you will hear the occasional sheep and cock crowing in the morning just as you would expect. Heather also came to visit before we left making sure that the week had been ok and before you leave make sure you buy some of their Strawberry Jam, that is a must!. Highly recommended but hope we can still manage to get a pitch next year as this is a busy site even at the end of September. Thank you Heather for a lovely stay at your CL.

Little Gem

Really liked this site - will visit again. Have two dogs - lovely walks directly from the site including a 20 min walk down the side of a wheat field to the sea [as described by previous reviewer]. Spurn point a short drive or nice cycle ride. Site is tidy; grass kept short; and each pitch has own water tap [great]! Also spacious. Owners really friendly people. Subject to availability - you can pick your own strawberries at weekends; also absolutely delicious strawberry jam available for purchase at the farm. I also came away with freshly dug new potatoes; eggs and freshly picked beetroot. I highly recommend this site.

One of the best.

I will repeat that we had the same brill welcome (and goodbye). The pitches are well spaced out and with individual water and waste points. Beach walks from the site - turn left follow road and track/footpath east past Nevills Bridge then to 'The Runnell' where you can get down onto the beach easily. It's then a 3 mile walk into Withernsea along the beach and prom - check for low tide first. Use the bus to come back or do the bus ride first as we did - plenty of buses 300m's away on the main road. Our second walk I left our car in Easington (end of the beach road), used folding electric back to site, then walked out to the coast as above and followed the beach all they way to the car. Check tides first - we got there 2hrs before high tide and it was fine, took 2hrs 40mins to walk. You can get off the beach the start of the protected coast at the Natural Gas Terminal just north of Easington if required. The coast is the fastest eroding coast in europe - fascinating! Also 'Haddocks' for fish & chips i Withernsea. Thank you Heather for our stay.

Eastfield Farm Fantastic Farm Site

This was our first visit to this site and also to a working farm site, It was very peaceful and relaxing. It was lovely hearing the sheep and the chickens which were in the adjacent field. The owner Heather was very friendly and couldn't do enough for everyone she came round to say hello and asked if everything was ok and could answer any questions you needed to know about, she also came and said goodbye and thanked us for coming, to be honest we stayed for 2 nights over this weekend but I didn't want to go home it was so peaceful and relaxing, so much so we have booked 3 more nights August bank holiday and we can't wait. We bought some strawberry jam which is beautiful as well as the fresh eggs. Fantastic site can't fault anything and can't wait to return. Thanks again Heather see you soon. Paul/Diane Harris
