Ease of arrival/welcome

One of the best.

I will repeat that we had the same brill welcome (and goodbye). The pitches are well spaced out and with individual water and waste points. Beach walks from the site - turn left follow road and track/footpath east past Nevills Bridge then to 'The Runnell' where you can get down onto the beach easily. It's then a 3 mile walk into Withernsea along the beach and prom - check for low tide first. Use the bus to come back or do the bus ride first as we did - plenty of buses 300m's away on the main road. Our second walk I left our car in Easington (end of the beach road), used folding electric back to site, then walked out to the coast as above and followed the beach all they way to the car. Check tides first - we got there 2hrs before high tide and it was fine, took 2hrs 40mins to walk. You can get off the beach the start of the protected coast at the Natural Gas Terminal just north of Easington if required. The coast is the fastest eroding coast in europe - fascinating! Also 'Haddocks' for fish & chips i Withernsea. Thank you Heather for our stay.
