Very friendly, pleasant site with nice distant views.

The site is easy to access off the Yarmouth road, turn left after the church after going through the traffic lights in Shalfleet. Continue on past the village shop and Eddies farm house then on the next bend turn off into a short single track concrete road, just before the closed gate ahead turn left into the site. We found parking on the left next to the trees gave shade from the sun in the afternoon. Good views across the valley and the church tower which we were able to visit to the top during our stay. Pete the owner is very helpful and friendly with a wealth of local knowledge, especially as he unexpectedly knew some of our island family from way back! All told we had a very relaxing time whether we went out or stayed on site sun bathing and admiring the view.

Little Gem

Just spent the Bank Holiday relaxing in this lovely little site. Met up with a couple of other center members and we also had that magic ingredient, some good weather. The site is at the rear of the farm and is a secluded part of little england surrounded by views of the downs. Eddies farm has all the usual CL facilities and also has the village shop which is well stocked and provides a short walk to get the papers or stock up on those essentials. There are stunning walks from the site, dont miss Shalfleet Quay and Hamstead. If your looking for the basics and peace and quite for a few days then give this site and its friendly owner a visit.
