Excellent hidden gem

Lovely site with large fishing lakes. Camping field deep into the site beyond the furthest lake, level and waterside pitches should you choose, we weren't fishing so left the lakeside to the fishermen. Super peaceful and felt exceptionally safe, combined toilet and shower in a brick outbuilding, perfectly adequate for the visit. Short walk using the lane and a footpath to the Diamond Inn (0.6 mile) a nice pub with attractive gardens and good food, has outside covered areas with tables if the weather turns. Overall a lovely informal site if you enjoy peace and quiet. Steve

Peaceful site. Tricky access

Nice camping field by lakes when you get there. Tricky access roads, scruffy fishery site and poor track/overhanging hedges within site. You'll love it or hate it. Nice owner.
