Peaceful Week in May

This is a very tranquil site set down a shortish track, there's a few shallow holes so drive slowly. All hard standing and well spaced out with good drainage. Surrounded by pine and deciduous trees, with the bonus of a nice walk for the doggets. Added bonus if you spot a red squirrel! There is an on site shower and toilet, perfectly functional and clean but tbh really needs upgrading. all in all thoroughly recommend.

Hi Swift Blakemere

we have an 8 ff wide caravan and we’re looking for a site near Rowrah and saw your review of Ellerbeck Farm. I wondered what the A66 is like and particularly what access is like to the CL please? We are all from Norfolk.

many thanks in anticipation of your response

Sorry only just seen your question and you've probably decided anyway.

I left the club for a while, old sick dog to look after.

A66 is fine, perfectly wide enough for an 8ft van and access will be ok, no sharp turns once you've left the A66 at Cockermouth. And snap I'm also from Norfolk!
