Get out the Bikes
Ideal site for family traffic free cycling, as the North Dorset Trailway(old railway line) is accessible from the village of Shillingstone. About 5 miles up to Sturminster Newton; and about 3 miles down the line to Blandford Forum. Kingston Lacey, Badbury Rings and many more interesting places nearby. Minor point the grass strip for pitching your vans was quite narrow a wider strip of mown grass would have been nice. The Owners were delightful and we would definitely recommend this site.
