Very quiet - even the sheep keep decent hours! I had trouble phoning (no one answered) but owner most accommodating when we did arrive. Slightly disappointing walking - a mile along the road to find some footpaths - but the roads are quiet.
Leek is well worth a visit, excellent supplies in the market.
