We just had a long weekend at this site in October - lovely quiet spot with electric hook up and all the basics.  View is over a few fields to Dalbeattie Forest which you can walk into directly from the site.  Was superb for us and our dogs.   Best thing about this site for us is its location - perfect holiday spot - two forests on the doorstep and just minutes from the glorious Sandyhills beach. We were completely spoilt as we had the site to ourselves and the weather was wonderful.   I expect we will be back soon - slightly reluctant to write this review as I feel its a bit of a hidden secret at the moment!
