We stayed here initially for 4 nights in July but liked it so much that we managed to extend our stay for 2 weeks. Even though it was a working farm the site was below the farm itself so any noise wasn't too bad. Very dog friendly place, Jet (the dog), really enjoyed herself here with lots of walks in the forest, & down to the beach at Sandyhills, which was very clean & litter free. We could let the dog off the lead on the track down to the fields where she met horses for the first time, absolutely fascinated by the way, kept on trying to get them to play with her. The owner Mrs Jardine couldn't have been more friendly or helpful to us during our stay, especially when she organised us to stay in the farmyard for one night, when the site was fully booked, in order for us to stay our 2nd week here. An excellent place for peace & quiet, we fully intend to return here in the autumn for another 2 weeks
