Back to basics is refreshing…
Our second visit, and it’s a gem. A week with no mains electric is no problem if you’ve got a solar panel on the roof. roof, even watch a bit of telly.
Some great walks from the site, especially the Druids Temple! And Masham is charming, and the Black Sheep Brewery well worth a visit. The village pub is going through a rough patch, and hope they get their act back together!
Lots to do in the area, and you don’t notice the back to basics…
