Fine for a stop over

This was a bit of a strange site due to its location- its literally in the middle of nowhere- but once you found it and got set up it was fine. The owners were friendly and left you to your own devices. Its quite exposed but there is water, chemical disposal and the opportunity to buy venison meat and sausages if that is what you fancy. Note it is £20 a night now.

What a find!

So pleased to have found this site. If you are looking for peace and tranquillity this is the place. Beautiful surroundings with cows and deer herds in adjacent fields. Jane and Pete very welcoming and friendly couple. Added bonus of the butchery shop. Can recommend the venison steaks, venison and onion burgers and Lincolnshire sausages which were all absolutely delicious. Thank you Pete. Sorry you were not there for us to say goodbye and hope the family celebration was enjoyed by all. Will definitely be back soon. Thanks once again for hospitality. Till the next time. Xx

Just Perfect

Our first visit to Fen Farm and what a find, the owners Peter and Jane and family so friendly and helpful. The site is a lawned area enough room for vans or motorhomes with plenty of space. The views are just beautiful across open fields in both directions. A short walk down the side of the barns to see just lots of the beautiful Deer. Plenty to see in the area and nice walks and cycling , had a great 7 days wish it was more . Would recommend the site if you are after peace and quiet. Will definitely be back again Karen and Nick from Walcott.

A must if you want peace and quiet

Our 2nd visit to this site after a Easter bank holiday stay. Didn’t know what to expect as never stayed on a site with no toilet or shower before. Finding it was easy enough, turn off the main a52 onto a single track road (do follow instructions to make sure you take the right turn) not a busy track as we never met anything during either stay. Owners peter and Jane are the most laid back and friendly couple, happy to pitch up where you like and leave when suits (just check for new arrivals). All grass which is un level in places but we only needed a side leveller. One electric bollard so depending where you pitch you may need an extension, water tap and chemical disposal with tap to clean, we were told to empty our waste under a tree. The setting is beautiful and you won’t find anywhere more peaceful. There is a deer paddock adjacent but they were in a different one but you can see them in the next field behind the trees. Peter happily took our 2 daughters on a tour in a field and me a different morning. We sat out in the evenings watching the foxes. A great place to walk dogs as you walk along the dyke to the river and can do a loop of the fields. Peter and Jane were always happy to stop and chat and brought their 5 week old puppies for the girls to see. Attached is a shop where they sell venison and wild boar which we bought sausages which were delicious. Tv reception was excellent. A real gem of a site for only £9 a night.

A LITTLE BIT OF HEAVEN

We have been here a few times now with our motorhomes and our son and his family, the Wesley family are truly lovely people and the Venison they sell is Exquisite when cooked properly steaks just flash fried. The Deer in the field are a pleasure to watch and visit the fence in front of the site regularly. The dog walk is along a dyke next to the site and is not overgrown, and without traffic, the bins water and elsan are all excellent. We love this site it is so peaceful and quiet, we are booked again to return soon.

Beautiful LocalPlacesOfInterest

Originally planned 2 nights here but stayed 6. Very peaceful and beautiful location. Deer in the adjacent field made it that extra special. Plenty of footpaths available for use with my mobility scooter.  Pleasant people who run / own this site. Good price. Not hard to find, just follow the instructions or listen to your sat nav. The disposal facilities were 5 star..... I recommend this site to anyone who wants peace and tranquility. I shall return.

Fabulous food AND views

Lovely little site, took a bit of finding coming from the Grantham direction but we got there in the end. Lovely shop that does some wonderful venison and wild boar at VERY reasonable prices. Well mown field right next to the fence where the deer appear each evening to be fed. We will be back for sure.
