Better than some Club sites

We stayed at Field House Farm in July and had a superb week. The site itself is beautiful and superbly looked after by Wendy, who was a mine of information about all things in the area. It is located within easy access of York itself and very convenient for the excellent park and ride service. There are local pubs and restaurants, serving quality food at good prices. The only disappointment on the food front was the Happy Haddock fish shop, located in a lay-by off the. A19 nearby. Apart from York itself, there are many interesting venues in the area, such as the Air Museum nearby, as well as being within fairly easy driving distance of the coast. The toilets and shower facilities were always immaculate and for my money, this CL is better value than quite a few of the Club sites. Make sure you book early, because it is busy and deservedly so.
