We were here in March when the Beast from the East made it into a winter wonderland. Travelling was not a problem as the roads were kept clear and the Park and Ride to York running as normal so a great CL for visiting York in winter. Now mid October and we were sunbathing for a couple of days. Had a wonderful 2 weeks here and didn't want to leave. For great eggs you have to go no further as Feildhouse sells them from the few chickens they keep.The shower facilities are always immaculate. Good local information provided for walks and lots of info for surrounding areas. We love it and have already booked again for next year.
