Very Nice.

Even though we stayed at this Cl on a cold, grey and very wet weekend it was obvious that it was a cracker. The pitches were probably the biggest hard standing that we have stayed on and we needed minimal levelling. The toilet was clean and along with the water and grey waste was about 50 yds from our pitch, electric was only a couple of feet away. There are eggs and other items available and payment is by honesty box which I thought was a great touch. The entrance is on a bend so it needs extra care especially while towing. On a nice day the views will be lovely and a new fishing lake has been dug which should be good to go in spring 2020. Looking forward to going back.

Perfect CL site

I stayed at this CL with my 3 children which was ideally situated within a short drive for our visit to Alton Towers. The CL is in a very peaceful location and provided a quiet and restful evening for us. Although it rained for most of our stay we enjoyed the surrounding of the farm. We all enjoyed the local ice cream and eggs available in the common area by the main house. The common area including washing up area and toilet facilities were clean, warm and decorated to feel welcoming. The pitch had electric hookup and was level on a hardstanding. We will definitely stay again should we be in the area. Thank you

Great CL

Our first visit here but we made welcome like we were old friends. Very helpful as they let us postpone twice due to very high winds....Thanks Can't add anymore to what other people have said, it's all true.

Lovely site

Really enjoyed staying here. Cannot really add much more than others have said really. Spacious gravel pitches, loads of walking straight from the site, the owners were very generous and helpful in showing us where we could walk. Will hopefully return one day in the future.

Excellent CL

What a lovely CL this is. It's been on our list to visit for a long time and we finally stayed for the first time with friends last weekend. Very spacious pitches, excellent facilities in lovely surroundings. Anna & Mick have definitely put a lot of effort into providing everything that you would need. They have thought of everything even down to emergency supplies (loo roll, toothpaste etc) in the old dairy, which also has the toilet/washroom along with local produce, fresh eggs, washing machine, iron/ironing board, freezers with a selection of frozen meals, cakes & ice cream. In the green shed at the end of the site is where you will find local information, maps, books, jigsaws, bbq stand etc etc plus more. We will definitely be back as it's local to us. I have put a video on youtube of the site arrival & short tour.

Great CL, roomy pitches.

Huge level, gravelled pitches, with some lovely views.lots to t9 in the surrounding area. Never had such a big level pitch on a large site, never mind on a CL. Marred a little during our stay by the fact that fishing lakes are being constructed at the CL. Noisy machinery working (presumably)on this until into the evening on a couple of occasions. Nice clean toilet facility and a real bonus on a CL to have little touches like a washing machine,+iron and ironing board available. The real problem for me however was the toilet flush, which is the push button type. VERY stiff to push, difficult for anyone with arthritic hands, or children. Conventional lever flush would be much more user friendly!
