If you are not a fisherman and do not have the use of a car (ie. in a motorhome) then I would avoid this site. It is very clean and tidy and facilities are good but the shop is very poor for anything you may run out of but caters extremely well for fishing requirements. The map which they provide for the walks needs reviewing as a great deal is not usable and the map directions are not very good. When we mentioned this at the office we were made to feel stupid as they say no one else has trouble following the map and the sty which we could not find off the main road, was supposed to be only 50yds along the road so we were told. When we left the site we made a point of looking for the sty and found it when almost in the village which was a great deal further than 50yds. We also spoke to a couple of other visitors who also could not follow the map so we were not alone in thinking that the map needs reviewing. We will not be visiting the site again.
