This is an excellent site, very quiet with over 40 acres managed with wildlife in mind. The site manager was helpful and friendly. Facilities are basic but adequate. Caravan club website and book were unhelpful in the following ways. 1. Once on the right road, it implies the site is 100 yards on, near a riding centre, In truth it is over a mile on, then 100yds past a riding centre. A subtle difference but enough to make us think we had missed it and turning round in the single track road would have been impossible anyway. 2. Book and website say fishing within three miles. More like three feet, as the site has excellent fishing ponds. To be fair I am only assuming these are available to caravaners. 3. We were asked to remove our awning ground sheet and the site manager thought it said so in the book, but I can't see it. Overall impression, an excellent quiet site with superb walks within the premises. We will definitely return.
