We had chosen this quiet site near to home for our first trip in our new setup and as it was dog friendly and family frieldly it suited us well as a family of 5 with young children and dog. We was welcomed on arrival by a gentleman called William and his young son who was wonderful, this was the first weekend out of travel lockdown and much to our amazement it was very quiet. this being the way we had a pick of pitches which was lovely. We were told where all the on site waste and toilet was and was informed of a fair few local attractions some of which were very new to us. The site is very well kept and very quiet and tranquil, although its a very active stables also there was no smell at all of horses or any noise from the stable users, actually the stable users were very friendly aslo. The river walk was lovely and a very easy walk. Would highy reccomend this location and would definately re visit soon
