We took a two week stay there in August with the family. The site is larger, much larger than most other CLs we've stayed on, which is great for choices of where to pitch and also allowed the kids to go off and wonder off in safety.
There are a handful of hardstanding pitches (level-ish!). The grass gets soft with lots of rain (which we've had in 2012), be interesting how well you'd get on or off after many days of heavy rainfall.
The owner cuts the grass religiously and it looks like a well maintained lawn, which is great.
Situated around 8miles from Buxton and a few miles to the two main roads nearby, so getting around is great.
TV reception is none existent, so unless you've got a satellite system you won't get anything (glad we brought ours). Orange phone okay, O2 had no signal.
This is a working farm, so you'll get tractors trundling up and down the lane next to the field, but we like this, keeps the kids entertained ;-)
Would highly recommend this site to everyone who wanted to be based in this area. If it was close to us, be'd be regular visitors.
