Excellent economy site

We visited this site in early August for a week, using it as a base to explore. We found it to be excellent for our needs.the only downside is the access, which is by an unadopted track leading to several properties that are nearer to the road than Mr Penny. His own patch, while still untarmaced, is smooth in comparison. The council's "dropped" kerb to the track is probably 2 inches in height, partly I suspect to prevent rainwater flowing down it, though others in the area seem to be to the same standard. Going down the slope involves passing tree roots that create potholes and unevenness. Mr Penny was most welcoming and cheerful, the surroundings wonderful and peaceful, and we thoroughly recommend this site if you can cope without mains electricity.
