Spent a week here during the 1st week in July 2015 after initially visiting about 5 years ago. A perfect peace haven to enjoy the quiet but abundant wildlife present. Out of 7 nights on site we had the place to ourselves for 5 of these. My husband went fishing in the private pond and caught/ released several Carp and Roach at no extra fee. We too used the footpath to visit the local pub which is only yards away. Central for all local facilities and attractions as well as being approx only 6 miles away from Beaulieu. If you are looking for peace and tranquillity and can be self sufficient (no electric) this site will reward you in all aspects. The cost apart from financial is having to commit to the drive in and being prepared to open gates to access this wonderland. Idyllic for nature lovers - Thank you Mr Penny - we will be back.
