Just Perfect

This CL is just perfect and a real gem. Very easy to find off A30 with good clear signs on the final approach. Large flat field in a quiet location but within a few miles of two lovely beaches which can be walked to. Lots of attractions within easy reach. Water on pitch along with electrics and pitches well spaced. Friendly owner. We spent 12 delightful nights here and were sorry to leave. Hopefully we will be back - a real gem of a site.

Great location great site

First time we have visited Forge Manor Farm CL just spent the Bank holiday weekend at the CL, the owner Martin is very welcoming. The site is large enough to allow for the caravans to be spaced out, the grass was cut all of the usual facilities are fine, the Wi-Fi worked well, TV reception is fine as is the phone signals. The site is well located with easy access with a relatively straight lane to the site there are a few bumps but certainly not anything to be concerned about. The site is quite and is sheltered we could hear an owl during the night time which was nice. The site is very close to the Cornish Coast to Coast cycle route, for details see https://cycle.travel/route/cornish_coast_to_coast there is a cycle hire shop less about 1/2 a mile away from the CL, basically at the main road going into the CL take a right turn. The cycle route is not over hilly and has a few pubs on route as well as cycle hire places, I would not take a light weight road bike as the track is course stone in places. Great week end will be back one day.

What a find!

Perfect! Quiet, peaceful site with well-kept grass. Previous reviews say it all. Visited twice this year and hope to visit again soon.

A lovely little place

What a lovely little place, Martin the owner is friendly and welcoming. Arrived on 20/7/18 and my name was on my pitch.. A well kept grass field made it easy to set up.. Walking distant to Portreath and Porthtowan.. we definitely be booking up again for next year...

Friendly

Lovely quiet secluded site, along a man made road arrived our name was in a post telling us what pitch was ours, and owner came straight over to tell us where water, waste and bins were, we had a severe leak in our van after a few days and Martin could not of helped us anymore, and we managed to rectify the problem. Close to two beaches and Reduth approx 2 miles away where tesco and Morrisons are. Good site for nature/bird lovers saw a few bats, rabbits and a hawk was sat on my roof box one morning when I opened the blind.

Highly Recommended!

Great Site, Very Quiet, owners friendly but left you alone. Redruth, Portreath and Porthtowan (fantastic Beach and walks).less than 2 Miles away. (Theres a Big Tescos and Morrissons there). Access up a hardcore track, which made it especially quiet being away from any roads. Only downside was the field whilst being 'lush with grass' did get on the boggy side after a weeks worth of rain, but where wouldn't !! will definitely return. Thanks for a fantastic two weeks holiday.
