This CL is thoroughly deserving of its many good reviews. I will just add some detail. All 5 pitches are good and none appeared to be overhung by the trees which shelter the site. In February we had heavy rain but it coped with this well. On some pitches the water tap is set back up a grass bank making a water barrel less easy to use than a hose. Our 7-metre hose reached but we would have needed our longer hose if we had parked differently. Each pitch has a long length of coax permanently wired to the site’s satellite dish with an F type connecter to connect to the van/TV. It worked well with many stations but not the BBC. This wasn’t a problem as we could get the BBC via the Wi-Fi which also worked well. The only signal our terrestrial TV could pick up was from the distant horizontally polarised transmitter near Bodmin Moor which required the directional aerial to be pointed into the trees, hence the poor reception. The recommended route to the site is not to use the B3269 from the A30 but rather the A391 to St Austell and then very briefly the A390 towards Liskard before branching off towards Par and then Fowey. Reference to 3.58 mtrs in the instructions refers to height not length so in most cases the last part of the instructions can be ignored. Fowey does not have a supermarket so best come stocked up or drive to the nearest supermarket at St Austell. We found there was plenty to do from the site without driving anywhere and basics could be bought locally.
