Nice Place BUT...

Very nice stay, but with a couple of problems, 1. Didn't see the owners to take payment, had to leave it on the office desk when leaving. 2. Electric hook up appeared to be a problem, I was only drawing 5A sometimes less and my fridge would switch to gas, it only does this when the supply voltage drops, they could benefit with having an electrician look at this. Putting a better supply in? 3. 6 units on the site when I thought 5 was max, there is enough room but that probably didn't help with the power problem.

Outstanding CL

Firstly to confess; this is the first time that I have been to a CL and therefore have nothing to compare it to as have always used commercial sites or CMC sites previously. I found this site to be welcoming, exceptionally well kept, with a clean shower and toilet available. There is a brick built water point, and a brick built elsan point. We also utilised the day kennels facility to visit some local attractions, the dogs looked extremely well cared for and we would definitely use that facility again. Look forward to coming back next year.

A gem of a site

Just came back from 7 nights at foxcombe house cl. Great site large field so plenty of privacy if required. Jan and Paul lovely friendly couple, the cl has a nice shower 50p required and separate loo very clean lots of hot water. Easy access of the main tenby road although there is a tight narrow railway bridge, it's a narrow A road verges hadn't been cut so beware. Lovely pub the castle in the village very reasonable plus tearoom and well stocked local shop not a rip off. Manorbier beach is a 15 min walk also great beach at skrinkle head just of coast path. We could not fault this cl or the fantastic area. As they say we will return.

A Welsh Wonder

I totally disagree with the previous reviewer, we have just returned from 7 nights on this site and could not have wished for better. The owner greeted us warmly on our arrival and spent time telling us where the facilities were located and gave us an insight into the local area. Yes the entrance to the site was wet with surface mud and the site was wet, but what do you expect after days of heavy rain !! The owners husband even mowed the site between bouts of rain whilst we were there. During our stay the toilet and wet room were always clean, but again it is down to the users to clean up after themselves don't leave everthing to the owners. As far as the site being run as a business, of course it is as is the Pet Boarding part of the establishment, without it there would be no site. We enjoyed our stay on this lovely CL it was full all the time but there were acres of space for everyone. Will we return, you bet we will.

Yet another site run as a business

Arriived early afternoon 6 vans on site plus us, no owner available in fact did not see until end of sta y and time to pay, because of bad weather left 1 day early owner insisted we pay for day not used, site very boggy at bottom of field and toilets and shower in dirty condition. Could be a great little CL but alas fails badly 16/09/2017 dissapointed

Perfect for us

Lovely big closely mown field. Loads of space. Red hot shower in wet room. Really good location. Liked the owner very much! What more can I say?

Nice CL

This CL is rather close to the road on one side but the road noise was not obtrusive. Its a large CL so plenty of room to spread your wings and despite it being a kennels as well there was no noise from barking dogs. The shower and toilet were good enough and access to transport into Tenby was only a short walk. We would have no trouble in staying there again.

Two Relaxing Weeks

We have just spent 12 lovely days on this beautiful site. It is an attractive 2 acre well mown field, sheltered on 3 sides by trees and bushes with a bit of a view over the farm buildings. Although the field did have a slight slope it was very easy to level up the caravan and the ground is firm but well drained even after heavy Welsh rain. Although the owners run a kennels next to the field the kennels are sound proofed so we rarely heard the dogs.  The addition of a modern shower and separate toilet with hot water, soap and plenty of loo paper was a welcome bonus on a CL. A mop, bucket and bleach was provided but it was a shame that not everyone felt able to use them to clean up after themselves. All in all a near perfect CL that we would happily return to.

PEACEFUL QUIET SITE - LOVED IT

We stayed here for 2 days in May.  Site is a field with electric hook ups and minimal facilities.  We are self-sufficient and this was perfect for us, especially as we were the only ones on site!  Access to the Pembroke Coastal path and the village are easy and not far. We were here with our 2 dogs and the access to walks and dog friendly places was easy.  Would stay here again any time!!

very disappointing...Avoid

Hi  stayed here luckily only for one night in February. Dirty toilet, didn't look like it had been cleaned in a long time. Found the owner to be quite rude and dismissive...worst CL I've stayed.
