Nice site, needs more TLC
Its a nice site, well fenced. Walks along the river and through fields are very pleasant. It's in a good location for exploring Shrewsbury and surrounds. The staff member who met us was very polite and helpful as were all email communications. You'll need levelling blocks as the picture is deceptive, there isn't much choice of level areas. Sadly when we were there the whole site was suffering a lack of routine lawn mowing. There were nettles everywhere, from 6" to 18" and higher in some places. In fact there wasn't really anywhere to park without nettles. Kids would have had a nightmare time there if it was hot and they were in shorts & sandals. There were also grass cuttings dumped - worse still in one of the only flattish locations.
