This has got to be rated as one of the best CL sites in the country, if not the best for its amenities. A warm welcome from the owner Shirley as we arrived and shown to our pitch. This is a brand new CL site just on a year old. All 5 pitches are hard standing and well laid out with the electrical hook up close by. We were then shown around the facilities available to us. We were issued with a set of keys plus a mini torch. the keys unlocked the games room door which housed a nice new dart board and pool table. A set of new darts were available along side the board and cues for the pool table which was kept under a cover. The best part was still yet to come which put this site at the top of the table. The other key gave you access to your own private wash room with a walk in shower, toilet, wash basin and wooden bench. This was no small room, approx. 6' X 12', beautifully laid out and decorated. Good quality toilet rolls were also provide and a cleaner came once a week if you were there for that long or more to replace or restock them. The dish wash area was also housed within the same building with a new Jay cloth and scouring pad laid out for your use. The outside area provided the usual fresh water, waste disposal and toilet chemical waste disposal. Both Paul & Shirley visited during our stay to check if everything was okay and asked if there was anything missing which we thought should be made available. With a 4.2 acre site there was plenty of room to walk and relax. Slight traffic noise from the B road along side the site but with the vast number of trees that have been planted around the outside given 4/5 years of growth that should disappear. Don't expect hanging baskets or flower beds as this site does not need them to make improvements. We have yet to discover a club site that offers anything as near to what this does. Highly recommended. Will be back next year.
