We stayed here for just over a week, and it was was amazing - no doubt helped by the perfect weather! Jamie kindly allowed our son and daughter-in-law to put up a tent next to our caravan, and with windbreaks between the two, our small grandchildren were safely trapped in! My husband enjoyed the fishing, and we all enjoyed walks around the lake, watching the ducks and dragonflies, stroking the horses and trying a bit of pond-dipping. The current toilet is a bit of a trek but Jamie is putting in toilets and a shower room under the new cafe, which will be a real bonus. The cafe (currently downstairs) was excellent value, very child and dog friendly - a big thanks to the lady who ran it for her excellent meals and kindness to the children. The perfect place to stay for peace and quiet, wildlife and fishing.
