Ease of arrival/welcome

lovely site even if you don't fish!

As none fisher folk wondered if the site would be noisy as fishermen seem to go early to the water, but we never heard a thing. We stayed for the 7 nights for £90 at this site and will go again when in the area. The only drawback was the 1/2mile or so road that was single track to the site, its a quiet road but dreaded meeting another caravan coming the other way. Also the turn into the site is narrow, but going slowly was no problem, but once there it was lovely. The vans are well spaced and look onto a line of trees with grass in front, all hardstanding. The lake is lovely and we walked around it most evenings. Birds of prey flew over regularly and its a long time since we had seen so many song birds. The cafe was most welcoming and food was a good price and well served.with plenty of selection. ususally open until about 2 or 3 in the afternoon. Wifi was free there. The owner was welcoming and helped us out with some printing that we had done {forgot the N.T. membership card).. We visited the area every day and there was plenty to do and see, we really enjoyed the National Welsh Garden just a short distance away. If you are looking for a quiet, clean friendly site with things to do in the area this is for you.
