Very peaceful and tranquil

This is a very peaceful site with 5 hard standings which are generous pitches each with EHU set in lovely woodland, There are also two wooden cabins situated on the site which are positioned a fair distance from the pitches. There is a large trout fishing lake just down from the site and makes for a very pleasant walk around. There is a lovely cafe open during the daytime next to the lake which has wonderful panoramic views and does a really hearty and good value cooked breakfast and the staff are lovely and friendly. (This is also where you can pay for your pitch as we didn’t get to meet the CL owner on our visit) The site and cafe are dog friendly. The facilities are basic, just a couple of portaloos and no showers however most outfits have their own facilities so this is not a problem. The Elsan point is found up a short but rather steep hill set in the woods and features a flushable toilet and is clean. There is one water tap which is a little bit awkward as it’s on opposite side of the pitches across the field so you have to drive on the grass to reach it unless you have a very long hose. All in all, a very picturesque get away which is good value for money and has a very relaxed feel.
