Wonderful hosts

The location is peaceful, and the only noises are farmyard ones; sheep bleating and birds singing. The site is really spacious so that you can pitch as close or far away from others as you need to. The Tor can be seen from all places, and is just three miles away. The toilets and showers are what you'd expect on a working farm, but were made special by clean hand towels and hand soap. The joy of this stay was the hosting from Mike and Bridget. They kindly gave us a lift to the local pub, which is an amazing find for food and drinks. They waited for us to finish our meal, and brought us back to the site, as I'm not sure we would have navigated the short 20 minute walk in the dark. Mike was round every day to have a friendly chat and offer advice for day trips and excellent local information.
