On arrival electric gate broken leaving caravan out in live traffic,had to get maintenance guy to open it( was only 3mins). Was told our pitch was 3( on top of roughly spread type 1 stone) not much good for air awning & sons air bed. Had to go to office & try to move onto grass which we did, it is basically waste ground with weeds,I don't think the bricks or broken glass was extra cost,the ground is level near canal Bank then slopes slightly down towards hook up points 10ft from boundary fence it goes very deep slope also drainage channel. Was on full wind down of legs with blocks. Other couple there pointed out gate been broken since yesterday. On day 2 lock for ladies toilet broke so you couldn't access them, maintenance man was trying to open next morning but still not working 2 days later. The road noise is very loud A45,smaller lane from 6.30am till 9pm,rubbish bins are in marina, not water tap on each pitch as advertised. Did not see any marina staff all week, marina grass is perfect site well maintained .Appears as if touring site is an after though to make more revenue. Canal walks are lovely,lots of nice places to visit around area.Shower room( did need floor moping off at times) & toilets where very clean never had to que
