Unkempt and with a pong in the air!

We stopped here in February 2014. The owner is no longer a member of the CC, his mother was who used to run the site. This is a working intensive chicken farm and don't you know it at times when the wind is the wrong direction....... It stinks! The directions in the Club's site book are wrong, they should read........ When approaching from Church Stretton and shortly after passing through the village of Wall (Under Haywood) take the 1st turning to the left, signed to Cardington. The site is then immediately on your left. Paul (the owner) has a lot of big ideas for the site, but I wish he would finish off doing what he had started some years ago before thinking about starting another project. The site needs a lot of care and attention as the stone hard standings are uneven and they need at least another 2 loads of stone to stop the mud that has risen to the surface. Oh and their dog is allowed to run free around the site. Despite all of this, we loved our stop here and greatly enjoyed our morning walks up the Lawleys.
