Just how a C/L should be. Peaceful and value for money.
The site is great with large manicured pitches. Hats off to the groundsman he keeps the grass well trimmed. Grass isn’t picked up but it’s cut that often it’s not a problem.
The site is set amongst beautiful surroundings with lovely views and within easy reach of Dolgellau.
Reflective of my scoring are because there is a bit of a trek to any other towns or attractions and although Helen has been most helpful on the phone and email we have seen no one except the groundsman.
As mentioned on other reviews the site entrance is poorly signposted and even with all my homework done on the route I still overshot the entrance by 25 meters so ended up reversing back up the road. You also need to allow for a swing in as it’s a bit tight.
I have mentioned this to Helen, advised where to put the sign and said it is important as there are no turning points further down the road.
Do not follow the sat nav as the post code takes you 1/4 mile further down the road and as I said there are no turning points with a caravan on. (Or motor home longer than 6 meters)
Having said that it is a beautiful drive in the car but use google maps.
Summing up, it is well worth a visit especially for the peace and tranquility with great surroundings.
