A wonderful place to be

My first outing in my campervan since March and my first stay at a CL. It was wonderful. The valley is so peaceful. A warm and friendly welcome from Carolynne, and directions to the bins, water point and waste point, as well as pointing me in the right direction for some great walks. The weather was stunning, which no doubt helped, but I am sure even on a rainy day this site would be a lovely place to be if you are seeking wonderful views, peace and immediate access to amazing walks. There are so many options for walks directly from the farm my dog and I were spoilt for choice. It is a working farm so there was no option for my dog to be off his lead but wasn't a problem, he certainly got his exercise, as did I, on our many walks. I had no phone or internet signal from the campsite but a short walk up the nearby hill allowed me to connect to 4G. It was actually rather refreshing to be disconnected for a few days. I needed leveling blocks on the site as it is slightly sloping towards the back where most vans were positioned. I would definitely return to Glangwenlais Farm.
